Trellis invests $15M in St. Paul affordable housing property
Trellis has secured funding to preserve and rehabilitate Dale Street Place, located in St. Paul, MN. This transaction includes substantial renovations to the building, which is comprised of 150 homes for elderly, disabled, and special needs households.
The project will bring many improvements to the building. Workers will update common areas, such as the lobby and hallways. They will also replace the roof, extensively repair the plumbing system, and upgrade the apartments.
Over 85% of the homes in Dale Street Place will be subsidized, allowing individuals and families to live at an affordable rent. A robust package of resident services will be offered to tenants by Simpson Services and Radias Health. After the renovation, the building will have improved efficiency, functionality and durability, providing a secure and comfortable living environment for its residents in the long-term.
