Affordable Housing Provider, Trellis Management Moves into New Space in downtown Minneapolis
Trellis Co., the Minneapolis based, multi-family housing organization specializing in serving the affordable housing needs of Minnesota communities announces the move of its management services division, Trellis Management.
The Trellis Management team provides property management services for the Trellis Co. nonprofit developer arm and trusted partners who share the organization’s passion to service as a “vehicle for organizations and communities seeking to conceptualize, create and execute beautiful, dignified housing that provides long-term stability for people earning lower incomes.”
The new headquarters for Trellis Management now occupies the 2nd and 3rd floors of the former education wing of the First Covenant Church Minneapolis, located at 810 7th Street in Minneapolis. Andrew Perry, President of Trellis Management chose this beautiful and historic building for its reputation as the “Healing Block” with its proximity to other service providers aligned with Trellis’ mission, the Church’s commitment to inclusive service to the diverse community and to be better equipped to handle the growth of the organization and for the growing demand of its services. “We are thrilled to be a part of the mission of the Healing Block and to join the other service providers in the buildings as partners in the service of community by providing stable homes for people of all backgrounds,” says Perry. “The growing need for affordable housing and the specialized management services it requires also necessitated a space where our organization can continue to grow in its size and service offerings. This is the natural next step as we look to the future and for better ways to serve more communities and more people.”
Currently, Trellis Management serves 4400 rental units, mostly in the twin cities and several properties located in greater Minnesota.
