The team will demolish the existing grain silos on the northern half of the site, preserve the elevator building, and transform this blighted site into a mix of apartment units, amenities, and gathering spaces for residents.
A six-story building with podium parking and approximately 100 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments for households at an average of 50% area median income (AMI).
Common amenities will likely include a community room with a kitchen, lounge areas, fitness room, outdoor playground, and a patio in the courtyard.
Full-time, full-service property management and maintenance staff.

Create approximately 100 apartment units primarily for families at a range of incomes including 30% AMI and units with project-based Section 8 vouchers.
Utilize an established and effective supportive services provider, Simpson Housing Services, to provide supportive services to residents.
Be located within ¼ mile of the 38th Street Hiawatha/Blue Line Light Rail Station.
